Changing your default search engine

If you want to use BG Search as default, follow these instructions:

Open your Edge browser.
Access the search-settings page:

  - Copy the following (you can click to copy):
  - Open a different Browser-Tab, paste it into your Edge URL bar and hit Enter.
- Show alternative solution
  - Click on the three dots in the upper right corner to access the menu.
  - Select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.
  - Select 'Privacy, search..' in the left pane.
  - Scroll all the way down and select 'Address bar and search'.
  - Click 'Manage search engines'.
  - Use the small search box on the right of the headline and type "BG Search" to find it quickly; if it's listed under 'inactive' click the three dots next to it, then select 'activate'.
Click the three dots at the end of the line "BG Search", then select 'Make default'.
Done! If the change isn't detected immediately, just wait - or restart your Edge and toggle the checkbox off and on again. If you ever want to change your default to a different website, you can use the same instruction.
